The use of 8.33kHz radio channels comes into force on 1st Jan 2019. However a derogation applies in Class G airspace in the Ireland. 8.33kHz channels will be mandatory in UK airspace incl Northern Ireland. See Radios page for more details.

IGSA AGM 2016
The 2016 IGSA AGM will be held on Wednesday 6th Dec at the DGC Clubhouse, at 2000.

The 2014 IGSA AGM will be held on Saturday 12th Dec at the Citywest Hotel, Saggart, Co. Dublin at approx 1630.

Registration marks
The SI Registration and Nationality of Aircraft has been revised in 2015. It mainly add EJ- as a valid registration in addition to EI-. A note on the specifications of the markings has been added to the Airworthiness Menu
IAA opt to apply FCL derogation
The for the implementation of the EASA FCL Licences which was due to come into effect on the 8th April 2015 has now been deferred until 8th April 2018. See IAA Website for details here
